Sometimes when we are going through hard times, we choose not to help others as we should. Unfortunately, some of us say to ourselves that we will help someone else after we get our blessing(s).
In the Kingdom of God, it doesn't work this way. I believe it is the desire of God for us to minister(serve) out of our own pain and struggle. Don't wait until you get your prayer answered before you allow God to use you to be someones answered prayer.
I know it can be hard sometimes to look beyond yourself when you are in need, but I promise you...no God promises in His Word (Bible), that when you give to others, it will return back to you.
Be a blessing today!

Decide today to play to win. Many of us too many times play not to loose. When you play not to loose, more times than not, you will end up losing. Think of the sports teams who were winning the game only to revert into a "not to loose" strategy and eventually loses anyway. This happens because of the shift in focus from winning the game, to not loosing the game. Where your focus is, your life will follow.
Begin today to play the game of life with a "WIN" strategy! Do this in your business, family, health, ministry or whatever you have set in your mind and heart to do. With God all things are possible!

Many times we find ourselves asking God for "more". More money, more of this and more of that. But the truth of the matter is that God will not give us more than we can handle. So today, instead of asking for "more", let's ask God to help us maximize what we already have. He has already given us abilities, talents, gifts, relationships, and resources that we must capitilize on and maximize. When we do this, we will discover that we already have enough.

"Yes We Can!" This phrase has been made popular by our new President-elect Barack Obama. It is a fitting mantra for this time in the world today, with so many challenges in our nation, in our economy, and in our personal lives. One thing for sure is that we never have a lack of obstacles telling us that "No you can't!" Therefore, we must be reminded on a day to day basis that "Yes You Can!"
I encourage you today to once again believe in your dream. Believe that yes it is possible for you to become everything you imagined you would become. Know that is not impossible. The only thing that makes your dream impossible, is your belief that it is impossible.
Keep dreaming, keep believing, Yes You Can!

As some of you already know, I have two sons Nehemiah and Noah, ages four and two respectfully, who are both diagnosed with autism. Autism is psychiatric disorder that has more recently received more public attention through the media from notable celebrities such as Holly Robinson Peete, Jenny McCarthy and Toni Braxton, who all have their own courageous stories to share concerning their children.
The experts have said Autism is a condition in which there is no cure for. Their outlook on this situation would be debilitating to me if I didn't believe in a higher authority than all the experts.
Treating our two beautiful boys to a cure is a painstaking task of which my wife Keisha and I have spent countless hours researching this disorder and learning about its various treatments and possible cures. We have spent thousands of dollars for therapy sessions, special diets, and doctors visits.
I'm writing this blog today to encourage you, if you may be experiencing a major challenge in your life in which you feel that there is little to no hope. I want to let you know that no matter what you may be currently facing, whether in your health, career, relationship, etc., nothing is impossible if you believe. Understand that this road that we are on called Life is a journey of faith.
Remember that faith is not necessarily an absence of fear, but it is perseverance towards your desired result in spite of the fear.

Hello all! Have you ever wondered what your life would look like if you had made better decisions when you were younger. Have you ever looked at your life and thought "I should be much further along than I am right now". Well, you're not alone. With that thought in mind, I want to pose this question:
What life lesson do you wish you had known back when you were in high school or college and why?
